Over the course of the years, I have written hundreds of book reviews, mostly for The Los Angeles Times Book Review, under the superb editorial guidance of Steve Wasserman and Tom Curwen.
Below is a selection of some of my favorites. Since The L.A. Times now charges $ to download these reviews (not a penny of which will come to either me or the author, I might add), I have included a link, on the title, to my pre-publication drafts of the reviews, along with the date the review appeared in print. I’ve also included a link to buy these books–they are all worth owning!
